This Rock Island Arsenal manual from Sept. 1942 shows complete disassembly/assembly for the semi-auto .45 pistol. Its 42 pages of contents include disassembly, assembly, overhaul, and tool drawings. The tool drawings, as with many U.S. military manuals (including those above) were very small and of poor quality in the original manuals. Blowing the pictures up in size to fit the 8.5 x 11"
